In fact, there’s a whole section dedicated to working with just modulation envelopes, using an approach similar to how DSP effects are processed: combining basic building blocks together to form more complex envelopes…LFO, ADHSR, Key/Velocity tracker, Fader etc. And each sample can be freely assigned to any (one) modulation set or effect chain, as shown in this illustration: Modulation SetsĪs mentioned, you now have the potential to add envelopes on a per-sample basis. It is now possible to define unlimited envelopes (modulations) and create internal effect chains within instruments. In this release, almost every part of the built-in sampler has become more powerful, with a feature-set that should make it interesting to sampling-library aficionados and synthesizer freaks alike: Per-sample envelopes and effects Let’s take a moment to look at the shiny new stuff before we rush off to the backstage, shall we? Supercharged instruments with per-sample modulation, effects and more * New real-time performance options * Instrument phrases * New DSP effects and pattern commands * Reworked GUI Supercharged instruments We are happy to announce that the first beta of Renoise 3.0 has arrived.
